Apple - How reliable are generic battery and power supply replacements?

I need to get a replacement battery for an APPLE MAC A1181. The power supply was physically damaged and the battery would not hold a charge.

I seen many, many suppliers of generic batteries and power supplies for the MAC.

Anyone had any experiences good/bad?

0	it might be better to go with a generic brand, but i would suggest doing research on the manufacturer first. also, you might want to find a chart or something like that comparing the performance of an Apple battery and a generic battery. answered Jun 07 '10 at 10:19 jtpo95 271●4●8●15
