No matter what headphones i buy, they just stop working. I never have them longer than a month or 2. Why is this?

you should buy skullcandy headphones ... they are made superior to other headphones and all skullcandy headphones have a life time warranty ... if they break from you using them normally skullcandy will replace them for free, and if you brake them because of your extreme life style then skullcandy will replace them for half the cost. ^.^ b

Maybe you buy headphone which aren't that good. I used to buy cheap headphones and they always broke, just like you. Since I buy somewhat more expensive headphones I don't have that problem. And the music sounds nicer!

Mine break a lot too. I just end up buying cheap ones because I expect them to break.

There are many reasons: do you buy cheap headphones, do you have an animal playing with it, do you always bend the wire or get something that hit sit a lot which will cause a short.

That could very well be your issue... Full volume is bad for headphones of any kind.

There could be many reasons. You might not take good enough care of them (not trying to be rude but that's what happens to mine,) If you get really cheap one's they won't last as long. Here some tips: When you are done hang them with a thumbtack or nail. Get one's over $20 they will last mush longer.
