why are people up and arms about a mosque being by 9-11 ground zero? I really don't get it O.o |
I've never heard about this, but I have a pretty good idea... Mosques are the temple of the Muslim faith. Americans ignorantly blame Muslims for the 9-11 attacks. By that logic, if it were true, allowing a mosque to be built on the site of a muslim attack would be a form of sacrilege. |
It's not even ON the site, it's a few blocks away, on an old shoe factory, where a motor of one of the planes felt and made it close. Americans often forget about all the muslims who died on that day. How many were they? 400, I think. |
The 9/11 attacks were done by terrorists. Not every muslim is a terrorist... |
Because they are are thinking emotionality and not rationally. Yes 9/11 was bad but that doesn't mean that all Muslims are bad guys they have the right to their own religion as long as they don't hurt anyone else. The building is a private building so the owner has the right to build there what he wants. |

Some people like being angry and sometimes there aren't things that they can be angry about so they write random things and put them in a hat then pick something at random and what ever comes out, they get uncontrollably angry over it. |
