I personaly think Intel gets the cookie. I think they run cooler then AMD's processors |
I like the Core i7-970 by Intel. I like Intel best, they seem to come out with the best processors. AMD is good for value, they have slower processors but great prices. |
Yeah, I think you are right because i just got an AMD processor to put into my computer i was building and i booted it up and it was much slower than all of my intel pentium machines. |
I Prefer Intel. I have really only used Intel. But I really do like it. It's never gave me any trouble, so I can't say anything bad about them. |
I aint a gamer so i would pick Intel with in seconds but at the moment i am using a AMD Althon XP 3000+ but i have not overclocked it, it still sits at 2.17 GHz and thats how its stays |
cusinndzl is right. Intel is generally better. However, AMD does have some very nice processors. |
I currently use amd right now. I have had quite a few Intels in the past. They are really nice processors to overclock, particularly the Celron. I also have a few pentiums right now. I would continue to get intel processors if they weren't so expensive. So im sticking with amd right now. |

That is a relative question. It depends on what you want to do and how much money you want to spend. For me I usually go with intel over AMD, but AMD can be good for people on a budget. As for the type of intel chip, for me Core2Duo is good enough. But over all I guess the Core i7's are at the top right now. |
