What's your OCD Ticks related to Technology habits/addictions. |
My desktop has to be clean all the time, I don't like cluttered folders and I always organize them |
It's the same with me also Craighton. I'm not much of a cleaner, but when it comes to my computer's desk then I can go mad. I won't sit behind a computer before the desk isn't clean. |
i must keep records of everything, all the emails i send and receive, all my school documents, everything, and it must be organized, for example my school papers are in My documentsCollege assignments and papers[school name][semester and year][class name][any number of subdirectorys] |
I keep the boxes for everything. I still have the box for my original Gameboy. |
anything in the computer or on the web it affects my life too much ahhhhh! |
I have OCD, and it does effect my technical habits. I need everything to be in its place, and clean. |
I prefer my desktops free of icons, and I retain similar folder structures across my Windows 7 machines. All of them also share the same theme. Linux can vary wildly for me, but I still prefer some consistency - my two Thinkpads running Ubuntu Desktop edition are set up almost identical. |

Yes I am very OCD about my technology stuff. I need to wash my hands usually before I use them. I am also very OCD about the way my desktop operates and performs, sometimes working all night literally to get it the way I want it to be and work. One thing I am VERY particular about is my computer and phone. Sometimes, too obsessive to the point where it is VERY unhealthy for me... If I see an error on my computer or phone, I go nuts. I sometimes have to triple or quad check things to make sure that they are correct. But yeah, enough of my personal problems lol XD I saw this post and I couldn't resist commenting. |

Yuuup, I have OCD when it comes to my technology. For example, everyday, I turn on my computer, do a full scan, check all of my sites such as TinyChat, Lockergnome, Facebook, Gmail, etc. If I have nothing else to do, I will just start opening random files keep me busy. Also, I will put the same wallpaper on every computer, iOS device and Android I have. It keeps it very organized, and I would put some differences on it such as the name and the purpose. For example, "Narwhal-Laptop" would be my everyday laptop, and "Narwhal-Server" would be the server computer I have in the living room. |
