Is this a good computer?

I would say yes, this is a good lap top. 2.13 ghz processor should be more than enough to do multimedia as well as websure. 4 gigs of DDR3 ram, not ddr2 is really nice. I only have 3 gigs at the moment. Only draw back is that it doesnt have a graphics card, just an integrated one. Shouldnt be that big of a deal, unless you play a lot of video games on your computer.

If you want a laptop, it definately seems like a decent one. Won't be the fastest one around but it will get the job done.

My recommendation: Get a laptop based on specifications, not storage space, then purchase a portable hard-drive. This way, your data is more secure as it isn't stored on the laptop in case you lose it, plus you will have acquired more storage space and a better quality laptop for the same amount or less money than you originally planned to spend.

If this computer is for school work such as powerpoints and word documents its perfect. However you might be able to run some of the latest games. But you wont have a very high fps. So I would really consider that as a key factor if your a gamer.

if you want speed and multimedia i say go for the macbook if you can, go for the macbook pro 15 inch. it has a core i7 processor

i think its a good computer for the price and the reviews seemed more positive than negative
