Do you ever get away from technology? Are we going tech crazy? |
No. When I go camping I want to be completely isolated from everything. |
Yeah, why not? The only problem is no Internet. |
No maybe an ipod with one of them car chargers but thats all. |
Well if you do you loose the whole fun of the idea. |
I don't go tent camping with my laptop, but if I'm taking an extended trip and renting an RV to go camping, I definitely bring my laptop to download and process photos and do other tasks. I always have my cellphone with me, and some of the campgrounds we go to have free wifi, so the phone provides connectivity to share photos with family members who aren't on the trip with us and so forth. |

I don't camp, but if I did I would bring it for sure. You need it to identify plants, animals, trail heads, etc. |
I bring technology of course. I have my tent, my utilities such as knife, fishing rod, lighter, etc... which are all forms of technology. As in electronic based technology, I tend not to bring or use it, in fact where I go camping there isn't even a cellular signal in the first place. I do have my iPod, but I only use it as a pocket watch when camping, if I tried using it for anything more, it'd drain the battery and become useless. And I write this, just coming back from camping myself. |
I only bring my iPhone. On long trips, possibly the laptop. |
every time i go camping i take my laptop and my Mi-Fi with me so that i can get onto the internet :) |
