What brand of toilet paper do you use, is it soft enough for ya? |
|
We actually switched to toilet paper made with recycled paper in the past year, after someone scoffed at some of the things we do if not because of the environment, than with consideration for the environment. Anyway, this person (henceforth known as "The Scoffer" had seen a documentary or news story about how extremely wasteful and environmentally costly the typical American's plush, 18-ply (I'm exaggerating, a little) toilet paper is to produce. We figured, what the heck, let's see what the "green" alternative is and if we can live with it. Well, you know what, the recycled toilet paper that's easier on our environment turns out to be just fine on our bodies, too. Want to know he BEST part?! Now, every time we wipe our a--, we think about "The Scoffer" and laugh.** ;-) The only downside to the recycled/green toilet paper is it takes some practice to get the roll started without wasting several sheets of paper. However they tack it down, or due to the consistency of the paper, it is a little hard to get the roll started. If I remember the exact brand name, I'll update my post. It wouldn't kill folks to try it out once... it beats leaves or twigs, right? |
