I was wondering if it was dangerous to be logged in to more than on account in a web browser? Is it then a bigger chance to get hacked if you have? |

If it's your own personal computer and you don't share it with others, then I don't see why it would be dangerous. I suggest that you do log out of critical accounts with sensitive information such as banking websites to be safe. |

well it depends on the kinds of tabs you have open. recently (i forgot were the link is) i read a article that there is a new kind of phishing method, this new method is not like the old one were they send emails from your bank or such asking you to log in, the new type target open tabs. from what i have read, not sure if you have to get infected with a virus or malware or go on a dodgy site containing the virus/malware, but you probably do, the malicious program can tell what tabs you have open, so if your logged into your bank on one tab or email etc, they will switch that tab to a logged off view of a identical site so when you go back, you think you have been logged out and then put in your log in details and password, and they steal your details. so be careful of what tabs you have open, if you dont need to be logged into them, log out and close them. it does not make any diffrence if your not infected if you have multiple tabs open and your logged in on diffrent ID's. |

i have not heard of any issues with being loged into more than one, i guess the only issue there is is if you are loged on to more than one account and some one walks up to your computer while your away he now has acess to all of that information, which is why it is important to put your computer in locked mode when ur not around... |
