Are you a collector and if so, what do you collect?

Are you collecting the items because you hope they will appreciate in value over time (such as coins, stamps or comic books) or Are you a casual collector that just likes to add new items to your collection (such as stuffed animals, CDs/DVDs, shot glasses, etc.?)

I didn't set out to collect anything, but I've realized I am a collector of:

frog and cat-themed items: small figures/statues and other decorative items, stuffed animals
geek gear, though I try do a purge a couple times a year to find stuff to donate or sell off
books, to a degree, though I do not have a large collection by many standards

I also collect geek gear. I like having it. Though i'm only a kid so I don't have allot. But I try. I have 3 computers (one of which is a work in progress). I have a Kodak Zi8, DSi, and a few other things like a 4 inch high @ that I have on my desk. I also have a old 1998 motherboard hanging on my wall.

Well, to be a collector, you have to have at least three of something. I therefore officially collect zippos, tripods, soon iPod touches, iPod cables, Rubik's cubes, and other stuff. Of course karma points :D
