Mount Everst V Peru

My friends and I are/were planning on going to India this August but now we are concerned about the Monsoon season. We were thinking ( we plan to sort it all out in the next 10 days where we are going) to Nepal to climb Everest or going to Peru to climb the highest peak there. Did anyone in here (or do you know anyone that went) to climb Everest or Peru. Which would you recommend?

Just wondering and I am hoping this place is not just going to be tech talk ( don't get me wrong i love tech talk) But i think Chris wanted something more here. I can't recommend this place to my non-tech friends just yet (100's of them)

Mt. everest FTW. its the tallest mountain and if you manage to climb it you can at least have something to write on your CV. Climbing the Mt Everest has always been my dream and one of these days i will climb it. thumbs up for me being ur first ^^
