RDP client?

There's countless VPN clients out there some free some paid. What is your favorite? I personally have used ComodoEasyVPN, Crossloop, and tightVNC. Im currently using teamviewer because it works so easily strait out the box. Whats the pros an cons of paid like gotomypc vs teamviewer? Also whats you all's opinion on the security of the different options?

I use whatever is built into Ubuntu. It works well for me.

Ubuntu has something just like windows RDP but not as near as robust as the options in teamviewer not to mention Tviewer is cross platform including the iphone.
