Lacie Network Storage ?

I had a LaCie Network Space 2 for a year i star having problems as soon as i start using it as a FTP server. The problem is that after my LaCie Network Space 2 stopped working, i found that Lacie doesn't have a costumer service phone-line for Canada. So i had to contact them using e-mail and it took more than a month to get a replacement because they reply once a day. i didn't like that u can't access your files using a web browser it has to be a FTP client... What do you use as Network Storage? Do you like Lacie? Any similar problems?
