I'd ask to see the next twenty years of sports scores and stock prices.

I think I'd be too depressed to see what I look like in 20 years, so I wouldn't...

The answer is quite simple. As far as I can tell, very few seem to have thought of it yet, how they could get the maximum amount of information from the single question. It is fairly obvious.

What do I need to know about the next 20 years?

My +20 year old self would know what I needed to know and what I would care about and I would have just given him the freedom to tell me anything he felt was important as well as all of the time in the world to remember key details as my one question would not be answered until he was sure that it was everything I needed to know.

I'd ask what my job is. I'm a teenager right now and want to know what my job is, and what I did in college.

What does the future hold .. Will i be happily married have kids healthy job and live a happy life ? Also how advanced will the technology be 20 years from now ? every year more and more amazing things have been coming out, just imagine 20 years from now !!!

Hmmm its a hard toss up between who/if I'm married. (hopefully) Or how things worked out in my career choices.

How about a little insider trading: What stocks should I invest in?

Imagine having been one of the earliest stockholders of Microsoft, Apple, Google, Dell, eBay, etc.

I'd ask my 57-year-old self to fill me in on the 20 years of my child's life she had been able to experience that I can't even imagine yet.

I'd hope that her stories, comments and insights would make me a better mother to my kidlet from here to then. It's easy to think you're doing a good job when your kid's three, but my 57-year-old self would be talking about her daughter, a 23-year-old woman, and oh what I would give for all that insight to prepare me for the next twenty years of parenting!

What would you have done differently? Anything I should stay away from? Anything that will ruin me?
