Does anyone know a good app for free calls on a ipod touch ?

I have tried a couple of apps for the ipod touch that say they do free calling. I don't mind if its ad supported they have to make money some how, but i need one that does push notification when i get a call. Can someone tell me a good app that would do that ?

I recommend an app called Line2. Its a dollar on the App Store, and you get a 30 day free trial. I think it sends push notifications as well. After your trial, is $15 per month. You can have automated machines talk and stuff, even recognize button presses. It works well, I use it for my business.

Google Voice, then you can use that to route to Skype. That is a way to get a phone number and you can use that to call and text and things like that.

Google Voice has a web app. Go to it via Safari, ANY device can use it.
