Do you watch "live" TV or do you record on a DVR (or TiVo) to watch later (and skip through ads)?

Well in the UK on BBC channels we have no adverts but on the channels which do have adverts I usually record with Windows Media Center and skip through them.

What is this TV you talk about? I did some research on this strange device and found out that it's something like Youtube, only with professional content. Maybe I should test out this newfangled contraption.

I watch it live. If I miss it, most of the shows I watch are on again anyway, or put online on their website.

Too used to a DVR cant stand regular TV, the ads are just too obnoxious.
