They stole the idea of a GUI of Apple. There was a huge lawsuit on Microsoft, which got pardoned.

They have emitted that a lot of there UI came from OS X it was in an article I read

Who does not steal ideas? people say Microsoft originally stole the GUI idea from apple, although it may be true, and probably is, apple stole it from xerox...

nope, but what they did copy was the video codec thingy. they pirated mac's video technology. i saw it somewhere in video. but im pretty sure windows did took idea from mac OS. they just wrote their own code so they lost. but we all know better
