Why does the world hate America?

Because we are arrogant are consume like pigs. We think we are the most important thing on the planet. We force our western ideals on others. If the entire world consumed like Americans it would take 4 Earth's to sustane the population.

The World doesn't hate America!, America hates the World!

1- Actually it's not called America it's called the United States, when you say America you are refering to North America(Canada, US and Mexico), South America, Latin America and the Island in the Caribbean not just one country.

2- Acts of War towards other countries just for their own interest.

3- Racism, why on some stores they put: pets and puertoricans are not allowed.?

4- Bush act of Genocide.

But US is only hated for those things, I think many people actually like it (like myself) and its a great country! :) and the people are also great!

I don't hate the US, I don't think the US is hated. I just think there are a lot of cultural difference between countries/nations/continents. Sometimes I have it difficult to understand why Americans act in a certain way but that doesn't make me hate them. We should be more understanding towards each other.

As the 'Old Man' around here, so here goes. There are a few other old farts and I hope they speak up.I just love it when aliens and snotty nosed kids make comments about us. Some of you are close to the truth and some of you are on target and some of you are 15 year old lamers. This is still the most powerful country on this planet. We are one of the wealthiest if not the wealthiest. Being rich and being wealthy are NOT the same. Yes,we do have an ethic which causes us some trouble. Unfortunately we have become the planet's policeman. If not us, then who? Sometimes that is good. Had we not joined with the UK and kicked Hitler's ass the world would be a very different place. Had we not spent the Soviet Union in bankruptcy, during the Cold War all of Eastern Europe and some other countries would live miserable lives. The Chinese- well we're not sure about them, but they need to be sure about us. As for the Middle East, we do know about them, but we know it’s a very dangerous place. As for Israel, we give them too much and they treat their neighbors quite badly. Do you own thing guys and do whatever you need in order to get along with your neighbors. Yes we do not always mind our own business. As a wise man once said, “ There was never a bad peace or a good war.” If other countries care to pick a fight, fine, pack a lunch, grab a toothbrush and be ready - because we're coming for your ass. Sometimes we get involved for the worst reasons. Iraq is a perfect reason. We should have ignored Mr. Sadaam and let his own people deal with him. Our kids have died for the sake of your gas tank. That sucks. As for the Afghanis, we should sit our carriers offshore and start whizzing in Cruise missiles every time we have trouble with the terrorist. No, we’re not your friend. I'd like to see us do everything for ourselves for a while. Import nothing if possible. If gas hits 8 bucks a gallon-fine its American gas, screw you. Need a shirt, shoes or pants. Fine buy those made in America, from American cloth and leathers produced by American farmers and manufacturers. It will cost more, but put Americans to work and kill jobs overseas. Screw 'em. Every car imported and those made here but owned by foreign corporations- we're going to tax your cars so that American cars are in the same price point. We should be pumping trillions of dollars into alternative cars- electric. Screw 'em. Want a computer or printer? We can make our own s**t. Want some more of that? We can do it. Screw this global community and global economy crap. Just what have you done for US lately? Not a damn thing. No, we don't always do the right thing- and we should do the right thing and stay out of other countries’ business. Sure, sometimes we’re just goofy. However we are generous to a fault. We feed the world and when it hits the fan, like recently in Pakistan and Haiti- we're the first to spend money. Tell me- wtf has Pakistan every done but allow terrorist and their boot camps train nuts to bomb, behead and kill us. We should let them drown and starve. Friends don't stab each other in the back and we have a lot of knives hanging out our backs. So am I proud to be an American? Yes, and I can hold both American and British passports. Am I ashamed of our conduct across the world? Sometimes. We need to behave. Do I Like Obama? Usually. Did I like George W Bush or his daddy? Hell no. On the whole, how would I judge the US, the Uk, Canada and Europe, minus the French? We do our part to make the planet safer,cleaner,healthier and better educated. Do we consume more than our share. Definatly in many instances. Considering that we produce more, and if we make it, we have a right to consume it. And another thing. We really DGAS if you like us or not. It would be nice, but I for one, won't lose a wink's sleep.

Everyone used to love America but then we got war hungry. Then we pulled a "invade countries to stop terrorism" funded by oil while we are at it. Then came the crusade to stop nuclear weapons and dismantle them, while countries like north Korea start being all chaotic and aggressive.

Politics are terrible, everywhere I see politics on the internet I see a flame war or the makings of one.

cuz damn states u scary!!! lol im canadian and live like 40 mins from the windsor - detroit border and its kinda scary when i go and i know some people who dont go at all cuz it is scary

because it tries to play big brother with all other countries by interfering in its problem.
