Cable, DSL? Are you wired or wireless? Do you have a router? Post the details of your Internet connection. |
Mostly Wi-Fi, only 1 computer is hooked up via ethernet. When I'm out and about I'll sometimes use MyWi for internet, or just native tethering on my iPhone 3GS. |

DSL Modem via AT&T service. Linksys wireless router. |
My main computer computer is hooked directly up to my router which is hooked up to my broadband modem. The other computers in my room are hooked up to a switch which is hooked up to the router. The rest of the computers in my house are hooked up to an even bigger switch and hook up to the router as well. My main computer gets the best connection. My network consists mostly of cables, except my laptop it uses a wireless connection to my router.

I am connected using wifi to my modem, imagine having a ethernet to a laptop, it wouldn't be a laptop anymore it would be a desktop!! |
I have special Internet fairies who sprinkle ground mongoose dust onto my Ethernet port. Net goblins then process my requests (much like dns) then young naked virgins act out web pages on my desk. I currently get speeds upwards of 60Mb/s using this technique the only downside is it's bloody expensive |

Using a Wireless ADSL+2 router, But connected via Ethernet as the wireless is temperamental... |
I am connected by wireless to my Linksys Router that plugs into the internet cable box that goes down the street to the switch box that gets connected to one of Comcast's huge data lines in Seattle. |
DSL and cable connect via 2 routers and load balanced prefering dsl as upstream is not metered. |
Wireless Cable Broadband High Speed Internet (and I hate this "at least 50 characters" BS) |
