Cable, DSL? Are you wired or wireless? Do you have a router? Post the details of your Internet connection. |

Cable and FIOS...I use both wired and wireless (mostly wired)...and yes I do have a router. |
I'm visiting my father in Las Vegas, and he has No Broadband =0( I'm tethered to my iPhone 3G[s] using MyWi or PDAnet. HP Tablet PC & iPad. Just my iPhone 3G[s] at the Casinos. |
I'm connected to the Internet from cable. Then I'm connected to a Netgear router, then that goes through a switch up to the computer I'm using now. |
Modem to wireless router. Wireless router to all my laptops and wireless router to my desktop via ethernet. |
I'm connected by way of DSL. The Gateway (modem, wired switch, and wireless router all in one) provided by our ISP (AT&T) connects two computers by wired Ethernet. The two computer in my room are connected to the Gateway by a wireless Linksys router (running DD-WRT) in a "bridged" configuration. |
Depends on where I am, since my primary computer's my MacBook Pro right now. If I'm at home or have access to Ethernet, it's via Ethernet with the Internet access provided by Time Warner Cable. If I'm on the road or visiting family, it's wifi. |
I have Verizon Fios coming in, I put that connection through eithernet to my Time Capsule. Every computer in the house connects to that network. Both my macs run on wifi and eithernet at the same time, unless my macbook is not at my desk then it is on wifi only. My pc is on eithernet, as is my xbox. The family pc is on wifi. Naturally both the ipod touches and the ipad are on the wifi. |
