Kodak Zi8 as a webcam?

I have a Kodak Zi8. I enjoy pretty much everything about it. The only thing that I cannot do with it, that I would like to, is use it as a webcam. I know from what I have searched, this camera cannot be used as a webcam.

That being said, does anyone know of a software fix, or workaround to use the Kodak Zi8 as a webcam? I don't know why, but I find it hard to believe that the video stream couldn't be pulled off the divice through either the USB or HDMI outs.
