I was thinking about getting a solar backpack for all my re-chargeable devices. Do you own one, how is it working out for you? |
|
I don't own a solar backpack or solar charger, but I've been looking into this http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/travelpower/c5a7/?cpg=froogle
I'd rather have something small I can put in a sunny window than a large backpack type solar charger, especially since I'm pretty rough on my backpacks. |

I haven't heard of these until now! If I could find one at a reasonable price, I'd love to purchase one. |

Yes I do own a solar backpack. I do use it all the time. It's great if your on the go a lot. I love mine. The one that I have will charge from 5.5V to 9V to 12V. So it will charge all types of digital products. I also use hand held solar chargers that are pocket size. These are great too when you don't have your backpack with you. Just charge by the sunlight and your on your way. Check one out at http://www.solarlightsplusmore.com/ or check out the article on the solar backpack that I have at http://www.solarlightsplusmore.com/solar_powered_backpacks/. This is a great article with good info. |

No I'd rather have this
It comes with it's own battery for charging on the go.
And you can take out the middle compartment and charge your devices using an A/C outlet |

I don't own one, and never heard of it. I would very much like one now! Would be great for hikers in the great outdoors, and their trusty handy dandy GPS units. :)
