Whats a good free host where you can upload a HTML website?

Well my site runs at decent speed on 000webhost and they do send you about two spam emails for the first couple weeks but once they stop that it is good. They are not a scam and if you want to see how fast my basic HTML/CSS site loads click here.

000WebHost. It is my favorite, I've had no problems with it.

Heliohost is pretty good. It supports everything. I built a few websites there without issue.

Yola is good. I have to write 25 characters. lol.

I prefer Byethost, cause of the options below.

I have used 000webhost before. Pretty solid.

I have history with 000webhost.com and 3owl.com. 3owl is unlimited disk space and bandwith, but 000webhost is much more reliable. If your gonna have a popular website you should go with HostGator or GoDaddy hosting (or one of it's resellers, i.e. DiFrancoHosting.com). But it you truly can't get paid hosting, go with 000webhost.

000webhost is good but dont forget the fine printin there free service its fast its great untill and this is a big one once you get 2000 hits or refreshes by users no matter the link on your site if that takes 2 mins or 10 hours your site is blocked parked off line for 24 hours ..

then the count starts over you are only allowed 2000 hits loads per 24 hour period for free to get free of that they want you to pay, for some this works fine if your site is built your happy not making continued changes if you run a busy blog type site forget it your site will be up less then an hour a day :) just one other notice about 000webhost as good as it is when for the time you can run your site, wordpress sites they will let you run a wordpressMU they will let you run but as soon as you try to network domain to domain they will lock you out of your data base without warning and not let you back in unless you have a back up already you lose everything ..

I use freewebhostingarea.com it does what it has to for free and you can have unlimited acounts and subdomains..
