Hello,

I just downloaded Flash Player 10.1 and now all my flash files inside firefox are blank. I only get to hear the sound but I do not see anything and I can't interact with anything.

Is there a way to go back to Flash Player 10 or fix this issue?

Edit. Flash does seem to work on Safari(WTF) and Opera. It only works on Firefox if it goes fullscreen (double clicking the youtube player)

Edit 2. I am running Mac OSX 10.6

Edit 3. Woot this question is solved!!!

I made a short video for you that shows how to uninstall whatever you want on firefox. Clic here (The menu is in french so you need to guess the equivalent on your own browser).

EDIT Lol sorry it's flash again. I'm editing it.

Try to go on Tools-> Complementary Modules (or something like that). Then you'll have a tab plugins. From there you can uninstall the flash 10.1 plugin.

Nope still doesn't work on Firefox

Did you see the explanation that I just added? (don't pay attention to the video)

Through that tab you can only disable the Flash Player and that also didn't work

(Jun 10 '10 at 18:34) zezioen zezioen's gravatar image

Did you try from: Control Panel -> Add removes program? You should find the plugin ;)

(Jun 10 '10 at 18:37) amokranechentir amokranechentir's gravatar image

Well I am running Mac OSX 10.6 and the Firefox controls are different here so I first have to search a bit

Edit whoops had the wrong window in mind but that is something Mac's don't have

(Jun 10 '10 at 18:39) zezioen zezioen's gravatar image

Huh sorry I didn't read that! I guess you can do that from the command line however ;)

(Jun 10 '10 at 18:41) amokranechentir amokranechentir's gravatar image

Of course you didn't read that because I forgot to say that. And I don't know anything about the Terminal (Mac's Command line)

Turns out, you can find the right uninstaller on their official website: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html Try this one: http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player_osx.dmg

Ok that removed my flash player (for the second time) but if I reinstall Flash Player 10.1 it won't work so I really need a link to Flash Player 10

If only it was a .dmg file and not a .exe (exe is the Windows only file)

(Jun 10 '10 at 18:50) zezioen zezioen's gravatar image

It only lets you download either 9.* or 10.1 not 10.0 because it goes directly through adobe.com

Thanks for your support but I found it on Adobe's website:

(Jun 10 '10 at 19:04) zezioen zezioen's gravatar image

At least you can go to 9.*, which should be working fine no?

Commonly, did you try turning The computer on and off again. That usually fixes flash problems.
