I have two little boys, a one and three year old. As every parent i want them to have more than me. At my middle age i realize the epic importance of education and I really don't want my kids watching tv 24/7 and playing video games all the time. I would rather find a fun way to stimulate there fertile minds.

An erector set might encourage engineering or a chemistry set, telescope and so on.

I think the most vital thing to do is what ever interest them fully support them and help them obtain the tools to pursue said interests.

My question for lockergnome.net is do you all know of any educational toys/software (i remember Oregon trial and were is carmon sandeigo on old computers lol) that my tots would enjoy?

Shurly there some hitec tools available that i am not aware of.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Netbooks... You can get educational games n stuff, I used to buy them on floppy disks when I was 6 or 7 ;) they cost like $15 each!

Neopets sort of games might be good :) I used to play those too (in highschool lol)
