What was you're Previous Generation Operating System? (Any OS before 2009) |
NEXTSTEP was pretty cool in its day, it's the operating system Mac OS X is based off of. |
Windows 95 and 98, so basic and simple... not too technical... but not too basic |
Windows 98SE. I've thought about it every day for years. I liked Windows 2000 a lot too. |
Windows Xp is probably one of the best operating systems. I still use it today. |
Windows XP always worked really well for me, did everything I needed to do quiet well. |
hate me but i had much fun with NT and the XP arc. m.m.m.m.m.m.m.m. sploiyt3 |

BeOS r5 was an amazing operating system. I used it for several years before I was forced into using others. I still have a Dual PII 400MHz PC who's sole purpose is to run BeOS. If you have never tried BeOS, and would like to sample it, I recommend running a copy of HaikuOS. |

Nothing, I really think the most recent set of OS' are pretty awesome. |
Windows 2000 Professional. Probably the best OS that Microsoft has come out with, lean and fast on just about any hardware. The only problem is that Microsoft stopped issuing updates for it. i still use it on a file server but I'm moving that computer to XP now. |

1980 - Ibm(can't remember stats), 90's - Amiga 500,600, 1200(with upgrade to 40mb HDD), 2000 - Win M.e., 2003 - WinXP, 2007 - Win Vista Home Premium, 2007 - WinXP, 2009 - Win7 Home Prem. Win Xp had/has to be MS's greatest achievement. But arguably Win 7 is starting to top that. Not sure if I'm keen on Win 8 from what I've seen, yet. Wait and see I guess. |
