I have bought my first iPad and can't decide on what would better serve me as to preparing my speech notes, the Keynote or Pages. I do no want to spend money purchasing both apps, but rather one that will serve me well. Any thoughts?

Keynote is more like Powerpoint. So if you are going to be doing presentations then Keynote is good for you. If your going to be doing some writing and just want to take general notes, then Pages is good for you.

Also if your speech is something short, then Keynote is good for you. If you are going to be doing a long speech, ex - an essay, then I would recommend Pages.
