I would personally prefer a Laptop but I would have a netbook and a laptop, netbook for carrying round on holidays and laptops for homework and school and stuff like that.

Desktop for raw power, laptop for portability. Netbooks are just garbage.

Totally right. You need desktops. And I don't see the point of Netbooks. Or an iPad. lol.

Desktop. I want the most power I can get, because I spend a lot of time on the internet, and I have a lot of programs running in the background, plus I love to play video games, so I want a computer that can handle all that.

I would prefer a laptop, because of the mobility. I love to carry my laptop with me on trips. If I want power I can always buy a desktop power laptop.

since i already got a good desktop, and my laptop is in a terrible shape, not really fit to do anything, runs too loud to watch movies on, not really good for games, i'd prefer to have a netbook. they have a fantastic battery life, my laptop struggles to run 20 minutes on the battery.

I would choose a netbook and a desktop. The netbook because it can be carried easily, and the desktop because it can be customized.
