I'm sure many people use remote desktops... Perhaps you should re-word your question to "do you use remote desktop software"

I just like good grammar. I think it is important that questions are worded clearly

Hey, Give me a break...I moved to the US about 5 years ago, not knowing what "Hello" means

Alright, that explains the grammar mistake, I'm only trying to help :-)

"What remote desktop software do you use?" is a better question, in my opinion.

Sometimes I use Remote Desktop to connect to my home desktop when I'm not home. I use the regular Remote Desktop Connection program that comes with Windows.

I use Win2VNC to connect to an UltraVNC server on my laptop. My laptop functions as a secondary monitor with its own application space.

I use remote desktop frequently

I also recently set up an additional virtual machine and remote desktop for my HP touchpad (well worth the $100 )

Since it supports pptp, I just VPN into my home network, then log into the remote desktop on my virtual machine. (if you set the virtual machine to 1024x768, it fits the tablet screen well and works just like a tablet PC, just with some LAG, but it still works for slower paced stuff, eg running vitamin d video to monitor the security cameras, and being able to minimize it and open up a HTML editor or some other programs

Also great for running microsoft word with the google sync plugin which auto syncs any changes made to my google docs, allowing me to edit documents in a full editor and sync the changes over to the touchpad (the tablets built in text editor sucks as it does not offer much formatting controls and sourcing. (ms word 2007 has a awesome APA formatting tools for adding sources :) great for the issue that everyone may experience where you type up an essay, add your 20 or so sources and then you notice in class that you forgot to have the references with hanging indent, or some other crap.

I have been able to make a quick edit then sync it to the tablet, then show it to the professor and say that your printer isn't working and ask if you can head to the library and print the paper.
