The problem with SSD's right now is the price, You can spend $450 for a 160GB SSD, or you can spend $130 on a 2TB regular SATA drive. I don't know about you, but I can live with regular SATA drives for now, even if the read/write speeds are slower. I'm guessing that's what you mean't by SATA.

The main questions are - How much data are you going to store on it and how much money are you going to spend on it?
SSD's are faster than regular Hard Drives due to no moving parts, but the bigger the storage the more you are going to pay for it.
