I have a question regarding a bookmark sidebar idea for chrome to get by until google does one properly. I noticed that the google tasks extension has an option to show up as a panel coming up from the bottom (which I assume could scale top/bottom like a sidebar; check out the task extension at http://www.chromeextensions.org/other/google-tasks/ it shows up on the bottom right in a tab that collapses/expands). I was wondering if bookmarks could be displayed in a similar 'panel' setup as that. It wouldn't be an actual sidebar but it would get me by until google does it right. I know absolutely nothing about creating an extension, I'm sure I could find a few things out searching around but I was curious if this piqued anyone else's interest who might already know how or want to.alt text
