Mine is Smultron, unfortunately the guy that made it has stopped working on it.

What is your favorite text editor?

Ah, you want Fraise - the successor to Smultron (and just as free): http://www.fraiseapp.com/

Notepad++ because it has awesome highlighting features and it really helps when finding bugs in my code.

Exactly. I was looking through the answers and wondered how no one had mentioned this. It's the best editor EVER.

Notepad++ is seriously the best text editor for programming short of several IDEs.

A lot of the time, I'll just use TextEdit. But, when I want the syntax highlighting and tabbing to be more convenient, I'll just fire up Espresso. Yeah, I know it's not just a text editor, but it does what I want it to do. So does Dashcode, actually.

PSPad by far. I had asked Kat one day to ask Chris what a good one was, and since then I haven't been happier with a text editor.

Although you will probably get those elitist's that say notepad or nothing, just ignore them.

Does Wordpad work well with code and multiple browsers? I know Word tends to favor IE-only code, I'm wondering what Wordpad does?
