Can you use a pc laptop as a screen extender (second monitor) for a mac? I am looking for a program that is free preferably.

I guess they cheaper in some cases and it would be a secondary anyways.

What do you mean by "PC monitor" - a monitor is a monitor, it's not tied to any specific computer...

YES, you can connect it. Depending on what type of Mac you have, you may need an adapter.

i mean a program like maxi vista (for pc only). That i can use a pc as the second monitor through my network.

It's sounds like you want to use your notebook's screen as a secondary monitor for your Mac. This probably will not work out, as the laptop's screen is almost always connected directly to the laptop's internals. Now, if the laptop provides some sort of video input port, you might be in luck.
