Just wondering how many people (if any) liked Windows ME?

I do, never had a problem with it. Most of the "problems" with windows these days are user error.

I'm just sitting there on an eMachine and it gives me a blue screen of death. All programs are closed, and it just decides to dump the memory. So I get a BSOD, and I had to present something in a couple of minutes. All of the programs were closed (besides things like McAfee), how was it my fault?

One of my friends loved Windows ME and I have no idea why, but I guess it worked well enough for whatever he did on the computer. I had XP at that time and he disliked the fact that it had a new bubbly look to it so he stuck with millennium edition for a while.

I found ME to be rather slow when I used it. When I installed XP on the same computer, it ran faster.

I never had any major problems except crashing for unknown reasons, I had used it as a file server, and after a few crashes after it sitting idle i went to Windows 2000 Professional on that system. Windows 2000 was and still is the best windows OS i ever used. Windows 7 is a close second.

It was the best version of windows ever. Google should switch to use it as the OS for their servers :)

Windows CE > Windows ME > Windows NT = Windows CEMENT

During that time period, I felt Microsoft ME was launched to suck more money from it's customers.
