Chris mentioned that he has an opportunity to go parasailing today (I'm not saying where). But he said he's not going to parasail; I said "Go for it!" Can you all give him (and anyone else out there) some reasons why he should try it (and yes, he's in a warm location right now). I have parasailed over the Red Sea and thought it was amazing (that is, until the operators dropped us in the sea, dragged us for 1/2 a mile, and we both ended up with extreme cases of gastritis, vomiting, and a week of antibiotics). But for a few minutes, I could see Jordan, Lebanon, Israel, Egypt, and the Red Sea at the same time, and it was worth it to me.

So, what's the verdict -- did he parasail?

Nope! He chickened out! I think he should have done it. You only live once!

Chris did not go parasailing. I just wanted to see if crowd-sourcing it would affect his decision.

Sure he should, although for my money nothing compares to the opportunity he had to participate in a parabolic "zero-g" flight. [I'm a very jealous SpaceTweep about that one!]

I know, right? How could parasailing be any more terrifying (and invigorating) than that?

Parasailing isn't that great, so I wouldn't advise Chris one way or another. I would highly recommend skydiving, bungee jumping, fire walking, etc. Life seems different after doing them.

I suspect it'd be more likely that Chris would try sushi from a 7-11 before any of those less dangerous options!

Thank you for doing my recommendation!!! > http://chris.pirillo.com/skydiving-for-dummies/

Parasailing is amazing!! I had best experiance in Hawaii. Very Relaxing and a great way to clear your mind. I wouldn't mind doing that once every week ;)

I saw the photos of Chris Free falling from the plane and he does need the fun since he is still living. Most people do like to try something dangerous like Para-sailing, free falling, etc. By doing this, he could remember all of the fun that he had. I am great full that Chris is doing this and he has the guts to do it. Maybe one day, Chris maybe will have the guts to go on para-sailing or scuba diving.. There's more to write on Chris' chapter in his book.

Ew, gross!!!! Having to imagine Chris parasailing while wearing a skirt is NOT in my contract! If it were, I'd quit my job.

Now I'm off to find some bleach to attempt to rid my brain of that image. ;)

I own a gorilla suit. I'd totally go parasailing in a gorilla suit.
