Unsubscribing? Without replying, can SPAM be sent to the SPAMMERS? If so, HOW? I want to retaliate against the senders of SPAM!

If the SPAM SENDERS are U.S.A. based, I send Cease & Desist Letters. I file the Registered Letters with Return Reciepts. If I recieve SPAM after, I invoice them for every violation. That's not working as well as years past.

If you figure that one out, you could become a very rich man. People have been asking just that question since the dialup days of hobbiest Bulletin Board Systems. It really got bad when you were paying for the "privilege" of downloading all the spam, such as when subscribed to a pay FidoNet Echomail feed (precursor to UseNet and WWW-based forums.)

The problem is the economies of scale at work... spammers cost per spam message is extremely low, far lower than it is for any of us regular folks who'd max out our ISPs bandwidth if we even tried to keep up with the pace the senders' keep.

I just quickly create a filter and let it get automatically deleted.

I think it's easier to just IGNORE the spammers instead of trying to spam back.
