On the ground, in my car, I tether to my iPhone 3G[s], my GPS location was/is correctly updating.

I was in the air, enroute from Las Vegas to Seattle, half hour into the flight. My iPad showed a stationary GPS location at LAX (See below). Does anyone know why?

That might just be where your access point was at the time. It can't track planes in mid-air. |
