When im feeling a bit down, i like to go out for a drive, listen to music and just cruise. maybe go on a canyon run and have a little fun. get that adrenaline pumpin. what do you do?

When I need a pick me up, some of the things I try to remember to do are:
Give and get hugs, or at least a phone call -- friends, family, etc.
Go for a short walk, drive or bicycle ride
Go grab a favorite snack (hopefully healthy, but not always) -- c'mon, chocolate has some health benefits, right?!
Take a break to work in our garden/yard
Clean up or organize -- it gives me an immediate sense of accomplishment and order returning from the chaos!
Lie down and close my eyes, tough with a 3-year-old this one generally results in her leaping on me (which, itself, can raise my spirits, actually!)
Put on some really good music and get back to work
Go to bed -- yes, there might be a double entendre in there if you look really closely, but generally I mean take a nap/go to sleep.

Meet up with my friends at the bar and get smashed. It does the trick usually. But then I'm rarely feeling blue, the trick is try and not get yourself in that position in the first place! Remember life is for living - grab life by the horns and hold on tight try not to fall off it can hurt and it's awfully difficult climbing back on sometimes!!!
