Google maps for iphone data usage question?

I am going to get an iphone 4. WHen I do get the iphone 4 I am going to be getting the 2 GB data plan. How much data does the google maps app on the iphone use. Does it only use data for downloading the map and then once it has the map GPS does the routung part. How does it work? Does anybody have an estimate of how much data for maybe a 30 minute drive?

0	Once the map has been downloaded, the GPS will take over. When moving around, your data should not be affected at all. answered Jun 18 '10 at 22:30 tanilolli 491●8●12●26
