I have a tablet but I am thinking about the iPad. I realize that this wont be a main computer, And I Will not have it as a Replacment for my laptop. It appears to be a bit more of a toy then a production tool to me... Is this true? |

If it was me, I'd wait for the second generation to come out. I think they're currently over priced, which is something I usually never say, I'm typically the guy that defends Apple when others call them over priced, but in this case I think Apple did go overboard with the price. $499 for 16GB... I paid $100 less for my 64GB iPod touch. Yeah you get a bigger screen, but a lot less storage space. So I would wait a year and see if the next generation comes with any new hardware features, like a camera, and maybe a price drop. If the iPad had a camera now, then I would say go ahead and buy one. But since it doesn't, I would wait for the second generation. lol u guys think its overpriced? here for 16GB ipad it costs £429 which is about $634. Thats What My dad said we should do... @nepdude101 The iPad here is $629 is the 16GB Wi-Fi + 3G model in America, $499 for the Wi-Fi only model. What are the price differences in the UK? Is the £429 for the Wi-Fi only, or Wi-Fi + 3G model? That's not overpriced compared to what it will most likely cost in Norway. 930 bucks. That's what you call overpriced. I agree wait til 2nd gen comes out, maybe with an iSight camera and photo booth for iPad. A retina display would also be awsome. Do you know the price of LCD screens? iPads have huge LCD screens. well... in the end we got one but we didnt pay for it my dad got it for "work"
