My iBook only has 512MB when I am browsing the web and listening to iTunes it only has like 30MB left.

I don't own a mac, so I am unaware if it can do that, although I would strongly suggest upgrading your ram the best you can. This will be much cheaper and faster compared to using flash drives.

Yes, there are free Mac RAMDISK Utilities/Apps | provides an easy way to create, format, and mount a RAM disk in one shot.

I've used one of these in the past, and it worked rather well in most cases. There are some applications that wouldn't recognize the RAMDISK?!

There was also a utility/app called RAM DOUBLER, that may do what your trying to accomplish. I couldn't find a current version.

They don't have native support for it but there are certain utilities that will do it :)
