I prefer iOS because it is the one that has given me the least amount of problems. Android was buggy, I do not like Blackberry OS, and Windows mobile has not worked well for me.

I prefer iOS. I used the OS on BlackBerry Storm a few times, and in comparison, I prefer iOS. I haven't tried the others listed. I have used Palm OS, but the old one, Blazer. I never tried their new Web OS.

I like iOS, but there are some pretty good equivalents. I would never replace an iPhone with any other alternative though.

iOS is my favourite so far, and although it has it's shortcomings, I wouldn't hesitate to say that it's one of the best, if not the best operating system for mobile devices on the market. However, Google's Android operating system seems to be catching up in the apps available for it as far as media playback and navigation are concerned, as there are many media playing apps available for Android that are capable of playing far more formats than most of the media playing apps for Apple's iOS.

Before iOS & Android, I was a big fan of SYMBIAN_OS. Symbian OS phones, mostly Nokia(s) were the smartphone of choice back then. There's a large selection of apps available from Handango, the App Store of it's time.

I feel the many forms of Windows CE, ActiveSync, and Windows Mobile never really hit the mark.

As far as the Palms & Handsprings, I didn't care for them.

Symbian & Maemo.... they kill Android IMO. I love my N900 and N810. they both rum Maemo. And I have another N810 running Symbian. They are my all time favorites!
