The main reason many people jailbreak is just for custom wallpapers, and multitasking. Obviously there are other advantages and disadvantages, but will you still jailbreak? (If you do.) |

This question doesn't really apply to people who have the first gen iphone and ipod touch. So I probably still will and besides its gotten a lot better since the first time I jailbroke mine with iphone 1.1 |

Absolutely! Why not get the best of both worlds? Wifi internet tethering without paying AT&T a dime for it! And you can only usb and bluetooth tether on a stock iPhone. Plus 3G Unrestrictor would be good for FaceTime with the iPhone 4. =) And SBSettings is a must have, along with themed icons, and the ability to change my UISounds. StatusNotifier is a biggy as well, Veency and ScreenSplitr are also good. Oh and Wi-Fi Sync. I don't get it, Wi-Fi Sync was submitted to the App Store, not violating any rules whatsoever, and they still rejected it, while they let these junk "Mr Condom Face" apps in the App Store, or whatever. Why put that crap in there, when you could put something useful in it? Makes no sense. |

No, because I still want to keep my warranty intact. Plus, all I use my iPod Touch for is listening to music and going online, I don't need to jailbreak. Clicking the restore button in iTunes and setting up as new makes the Jailbreak undetectable. Apple can access deep deep down to detect it, possibly, probably not even possible, but thats unprofessional, most likely illegal for invading somebody else's property, and because it would probably take a lot longer. However, like I said before, it's not worth the hassle. I don't need the features of jailbreaking. There is no hassle, you plug in your device and click a button. Done. maybe he has never done it before. lol and btw chad ur 1st get ipod touch cannot be updated to ios 4. lol 1st gen iPod touch warranty is way gone by now. well maybe he's so old that he thinks he's still got his warranty

ill jailbreak my ipod touch there are still some things that the ios 4 cant do that i have been doing on my ipod touch like having the android unlock grid instead of the slide to unlock because ti is harder to guess the code than 4 numbers |

Yes, I am planning on jailbreaking when a jailbreak comes out for the iPod Touch MC model. |
|
I haven't ever jailbroken my iOS device because I haven't seen the need to. Though if I did jailbreak, this update would make me not jailbreak it after iOS 4. iOS4 adds so many things that the jailbreakers have been wanting since day one. What else could anyone ask for? |

One of my friends who loves hacking (not for money, but for fun, make stuff the way he wants it) told me he will unjailbrake his iPod Touch for iOS4. |
|
I will not jail-break because I do not want to break my device. I know that there is a 99.9% chance that you will break your device, but if I break my iPhone and I am on a contract, I'm screwed. |
