No, Chromium does not auto-update. However, here you can get the workings of a batch file that will automatically download and unzip the latest version of Chromium. Are you talking about google chrome or the browsers where it's based on, chromium ? I am talking about Chromium. |

If you are on Ubuntu, you can install Chromium through the Chromium Daily PPA. Then you can update it using: You can set up that command to run automatically in a Cron job, and then you have an automatic Chromium updater (along with automatic updating of most of the other packages on your system). |

No it doesn't update by itself but you can install third-party software to update it. I use Chromium updater http://mulder.dummwiedeutsch.de/home/?page=projects#chromium |
