Is there anyway to fix a macbook pro charger?

I went to my friends house and she told me that her macbook pro charger is not charging, altough her macbook pro is in fine condition but her charger is the problem and its supposed to turn green but it isn't, her macbook pro died but is there any solution to that problem? Thank you!!

maybe take it to apple and see if they know what is wrong. Does the light turn red like it is charging? If not try making sure that the cord that is plugged into the power brick is snug. If you do buy a new one make sure that yo buy the right one for your MacBook pro they are different for each screen size.
