Do you prefer a brand name pc or a home built pc? for example a gateway, dell, hp, ect... or one that you bought everything yourself and assembled yourself. |

I prefer homebuilt, because I get so much more control over hardware. |

Although I am Mac user at one time I was a PC user. During my time using PC's I would always prefer to buy name brand PC computers. However; I would never go to BestBuy and pick up a stock computer I would custom build the computer from the manufacturers website to my exact specifications. |

Home built! it's the best, because i can build it exactly like i want and get a lower price than a brand pc using good quality parts. |

When it comes to gaming rigs, I would rather build my own. When it comes to low profile HTPC's, I prefer to buy them. |
Right now, I am using a Mac. But during the time that I used PCs (which I still do, for gaming),I always bought brand name computers. Why? Because it's so much easier, faster, and there's a warranty on it. :D
But there's a warranty on the parts...
