Do you think the iPhone's screen is large enough? Do you wish that Apple had made it slightly larger on the new iPhone 4? It's positively diminutive next to the HTC Evo's gigantic screen. |

I like the size of the iPhone's screen and while I'm the first to admit that the larger screens on it's competitors make me drool, I don't think they're heading in the right direction by constantly increasing screen sizes. Eventually they'll be the size of tablets which would then defeat the purpose of a mobile cell phone device. If you really want a much larger screen, buy a tablet. The last thing I want to be caught doing in 5 years is walking around with a cell phone the size of a brick. |

The physical size doesn't bother me much. I've dealt with it for 2 years on my iPod touch just fine, and in fact I've ignored my larger dual screened DS for the smaller screened device. Even with the smaller screen I can read text over 3 feet away and even without the need for glasses, can't say that about my 20" computer monitors. The iPhone 4, having a higher resolution with the same physical size, will improve this point even further. To be honest, I don't think the Evo has much of a chance against the new iPhone, especially after seeing reviews for it. |

I wish I could put HTV Evo 4G in my pocket... iPhone is the best smartphone and it doesn't need a big and not so good display like HTC Evo. |
|
I think that for what the iPhone is used for the screen is ok. If it got any bigger it would not be an ideal size to carry around with you everywhere as a 'SmartPhone'. |

I think that they could have maximized the front screen size without making the phone (much) larger. there is approximately 3/4" blacked out at the top and bottom of the screen. Almost an 1 1/2" is wasted for the home button and the ear-piece. A full 16:9 screen ratio would be great for HD video |

It's funny how things can play on your mind. Por ejemplo - Tengo un App DocsToGo. I use it alot and i have it for a year, i think. Anyway i saw no problem with it until the iPad came out and all of a sudden everything seems small to me. I had no problem before the iPad keynote by Steve Jobs. But for Spite i won't let it get the better of me. Right now i don't need an iPad. I have put my foot down, i will not let these ad men (Mad Men) get to me. I will win. |

For me, he is large enough for an iPhone. But there is too much space above the screen and under it. |

The main use of my iPhone 3G[s] is to be used as a PHONE, and the other features are bonuses. When I do need a larger screen, I hook up the Audio/Video Cables, and launch TVOut2 Mirror TVOut when needed. |
|
I don't mind it, but I think that it would look cool if the screen went edge to edge. That would just be awesome. Of course, they'd have to have some alternative to the home button but...whatever. |

Having been around for the first generation of PDAs (Palm, then Microsoft Pocket PC) with their smaller, much lower resolution and less vibrant, screens I'm thoroughly pleased with the iPhone screen. Frankly, I love my iPhone 3G screen and will probably be drooling on my iPhone 4's screen when it arrives because I'm having a difficult time imagining that much of a jump in resolution/ppi. I don't really use my iPhone for videos, and even when I do, I'm fine with the screen size since it's always something I've seen before (like a favorite Star Trek episode I keep loaded on the phone.) |
