Let's say you finally switched off to another web browser, because either you were fed up with the other one, or the new one you are currently using is better in several ways. Was there a time where you thought to yourself, "This was a bad idea," "I miss my old browser" or did you even have the inkling to switch back altogether? Share you experiences, and the browsers you used in these situations... |

I haven't really thought like that when it came to switching web browsers but I can see were you're going with that... But the first web browser I had was internet explorer, then I switch to firefox (until I realized how much RAM it ate up), then I went back to IE and dabbled with Safari, then I switched to Chrome (best dision of my life). But know I have a mac as my primary computer and I am considering switching to Safari or something because Chrome for mac hasn't had time to developed like on the pc and because of that it is still kind of buggy and needs some UI adjustments. |

It is been a long time, my best decision was Mozilla. |

Used to be IE all the way. Started using Chrome and was much happier. Then I got an iPhone - no support for sync of bookmarks with Chrome :( Also, not happy with Chrome's handling of .XPS docs (browser lets me create, but to open I need to right click and "open with"). When IE9 hits final release, I may go back ... still undecided. |

IE was my first browser I ever used. It was okay, but then I heard of Firefox, which was much better. That was a while ago. Then in 2010, I switched to Chrome, due to its simplicity and minimalistic design. I still miss Firefox, but I might switch back when Firefox 4 comes out. |

Well, I don't regret no longer using Mosaic, Netscape, Mozilla, Flock or Opera. By the way, Firefox 4 is... well, it's not Chrome. If you are thinking about switching from Chrome to Firefox 4, I think you'll be disappointed. |

When I switched to Chrome (a long time ago) I was, at first, a little unaccustomed to the layout and interface but after that it was, and still is, a great experiences. |

Any browser that supports CSS3. I don't care its name as long as it renders web pages constantly. That'll be pretty much every webkit browser then... |

I miss opera sometimes when I'm on Linux, though I had Opera on Linux but it doesn't feel the same on Linux as it does on Windows. On Windows I am usually using multiple browsers in one time which is really good, because the top browser on the list which is good for me is Opera, secondly comes Firefox. I mostly use Opera most of the time, but sometimes I would like to use Firefox for certain features which can't be found on Opera. So the end of the story, EACH one of the top browsers got a sole diamond which can't be found in other browsers. |
