Which is better Mac OS or Microsoft Windows?

There is no real answer to the question seeing as it depends only on what is best for you. Personally I would say Windows 7 but thats just me. I use Windows 7 because it just works for me, It has speed power and it has more programs that run on it than OSX Leopard.

There is NO definitive answer, I am pretty sure Chis has covered this topic a plethora of times on his YouTube channel as well.

In my estimation, Apple's OSX is the best operating system.

I like both, and I will always use both. Most of the time, either one will run a program that I will need to run, I don't see the reason for which is better, since neither are the best, it's all about personal preference and what the end user feels comfortable with.

I dislike OS X... It crashed on me more than my windows, and made me go back to windows :/

For the type of work that I do namely graphic design Mac OS is the operating system for me. I know that windows has all the same apps such as photoshop and illustrator, but I just feel that the Mac equivalent does it better.

Depends, Macs are great for things, and PCs are great for other things, Macs handle audio, video, pictures very well.

I personally feel OS X. Just because it's not used as much as Windows. Running on a UNIX platform, so more secure.

Of course, it's all a matter of opinion as well.

Neither operating system is "better", as better tends to be a very subjective point.

Mac OS X just has the branding, and of course, the UNIX base (which, actually, does not make it more secure. OS X has more security holes than Windows, since Apple hasn't felt the need to do anything there), which is great for working with Linux software.

Windows, on the other hand, is less expensive, compatible with most hardware, including Apple hardware, and can be found everywhere. Windows 7 is a drastic improvement over Vista and XP, and my choice of operating system on my Mac Phierha and Easy PaintTool Sai for doing things.
