I got a netbook. It's an Acer Aspire One and my screen broke. I called Acer, but I wasn't covered with my warranty. They told me they'd fix it, but the price was too big for me. I want to sell the laptop on eBay, but how can I take out all of my documents, downloads, pictures, videos, history - everything so it's blank? |

I wouldn't recommend you selling that computer at all. You can replace the screen yourself if you got any computer acknowledge - it would still be quite expensive, but cheaper than taking it to the workshop. If your selling it then someone else would do it and use it or sell it for a bigger price. If your sticking with your side then you can take the HDD out of it get a cord with one you could plug it to a another computer and format it from there. If you got any questions you can e-mail me at freezingicecold@gmail.com do u have any idea on what it can sell for with the broken screen and with it fixed oh and wheres the hdd i dont need the stuff i just wan it deleted oh and the laptop is about a year old maybe 3 or 4 months more Please e-mail me at freezingicecold@gmail.com! You can also just connect it to a another screen and then try Fn+F5 until the screen kicks in. Explaining through e-mail would be a lot easier! |
